THIS IS THE SUFF OF DREAMS... AND OF MAGICK NECRONOMICON or Al Azif : The existence of this magickal book was drawn to the attention of earth dwellers by H. P. Lovecraft. To paraphrase Kenneth Grant : The NECRONOMICON has developed from its spectral origin, on the Astral, to a manifestation as solid as any "holy book", and it has influenced in many ways the course of the contemporary 93 Magickal Current. -- Does such a potent book of magick exist? Yes... It forms the basis of the Cult of the Great Old Ones. YOG-SOTHOTH : This entity embodies the ultimate blasphemy which H. P. Lovecraft described as the noxious Yog-Sothoth who froths as primal slime in nuclear chaos beyond nethermost outposts of space and time. In the NECRONOMICON Yuggoth is the secret name of Pluto : The transplutonic gateway and the last outpost of the known Universe. Kenneth Grant has written : Goth = 409 which is the number of the "Holy Ones" and the Place of the Skull. YOG-SOTHOTH : The Guardian of the Gate : the Gate between our world and the worlds outside the circles of time. Yog-Sothoth is the both the Key and the Gate. This extra-terrestrial entity knows, and is, the portal that the Old Ones broke through aeons ago... and this is where They will break through again. Man reigns now where the Old Ones once ruled : It is the time of Man and not of Spirits and Magick. But They wait patiently, dead but dreaming, for here They shall reign again, and restore the Gnosis of the Great Old Ones... Yog-Sothoth dictates the stuff of dreams : past, present, and future. THE RITUAL : There are many and varied rites for Conjuration and contact with the Old Ones and to Summon Yog-Sothoth. Some rituals can be more than you would care to perform and the results are unsure, if not dangerous. There is one contempory ritual, which I can attest to, that is do-able and results are more certain. An Evocation of Yog-Sothoth to open oneself to the Forces of Initiation and Transformation via the Current of the Cthulhu Cultus (on the Outer) is presented : You can view / download a free working copy (pdf file : authorized by the author) of the Yog-Sothoth Ritual for evocation of the Guardian of the Gate. Any communion with the Old Ones must first begin with and is only through : Yog-Sothoth. Be Forewarned : work this ritual and it will work for you... Only by Will and Magicakal ability can this inter-dimensional denizen and entity be controlled. If you prefer an expanded book version of this Ritual (instead of a digital file) by the author John J. Coughlin : A book that oozes Magick, a book crafted in the tradition of the medieval Grimoires : You can browse additional information on an evocative edition of LIBER YOG-SOTHOTH : here : If you so desire : I receive absolutely no compensation for my recommendation / endorsement nor am I affiliated with the author or the publisher. I only point you to a rare Magickal book limited to a 100 copies : The complete public version. It's not inexpensive : you get what you pay for... This is a work of Magick that any magickian would savor to have in his / her library. A book of great Magick : for those working the NECRONOMICON or contacting extra-terrestrial entities not in the spaces we know, but between them. To further enhance the atmosphere for this Ritual : According to occult lore the buzzing of insects, as of bees or the hum of flies, denotes the presence of the Great Old Ones. The Arabic title of the NECRONOMICON Al Azif means the nocturnal sound made by insects... the howling of demons. To achieve this sound The Gyuto Monks in their Tibetan Tantric Chants mimic this, in an ethereal, melodic way, and it makes for excellent background "music" during the Evocation (ref : Kenneth Grant). CDs of the choir are available. A note on some of the language contained in the ritual for the Evocation : The obscure symbols and language are called R'lyehian by the Cultus : Not unlike Enochian and treated as such. But what about Aleister Crowley and why does he not mention the Necronomicon in his writings? Crowley was surprisingly reticent about his real sources. Considering Aiwaz, the praeter-human entity that transmitted The Book Of The Law to Crowley, as an egress of the Great Old Ones : Kenneth Grant writes : In the present Aeon of Horus, Aiwass or Aiwaz is one of the few open channels between humanity and the Great Old Ones. LAM : Kenneth Grant has described LAM as a Great Old One : whose archetype is recognizable in accounts of UFO occupants : enough said. ![]() Those that are familiar with the Sigil of Yog-Sothoth will recognize the above crop circle. Have They broken through? The chaos all about us may be an indication...
