It is doubtful that Crowley was consciously aware of the pattern he was weaving.  A study of his writings does not give any clear indication of a knowledge of the Principle of 23.  But if he was aware of such a principle, then credit is here claimed as the first to "get" the joke of this master manipulator of reality.  Regardless, his life was a signal whose message is only now being deciphered ...proving the supernatural importance of Crowley's life. Perhaps, Aiwaz, Crowley's Holy Guardian Angel, is the Principle of 23: OVIZ / Aiwaz / ShT / Shaitan / Teitan / 666 ...
